President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović visiting Sofia

PM Boyko Borissov met in Sofia with President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, who is on a visit to Bulgaria. The major accent of the conversation was placed on the European perspective of the Western Balkans, which is among the priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Mr. Borissov reconfirmed Bulgaria’s readiness to continue with its assistance within Montenegro’s negotiation process. The two politicians agreed that the ‘connectivity’ subject was essential for the strengthening and economic development of the region’s states. At a meeting of Vujanović with President Rumen Radev the two agreed that regional prosperity was possible only within an environment of security and stability. The heads of state expressed their dissatisfaction with the level of bilateral exchange in the spheres of tourism and commerce.
